His father is Norwegian and his mother is Icelandic. He was born and
raised in Iceland but moved to Norway at the age of 20.

No, he didn't. It was Jóna Björk Sigurjónsdóttir, head of support/services
at Opera Software that did the translation (mostly outside her working hours).
