Hi,

A release candidate for Imager 0.48, 0.47_01 is now available on CPAN.

If you get a chance please test this, if you have the CPAN shell
configured you can do:

  test T/TO/TONYC/Imager-0.47_01.tar.gz

Changes for 0.48 include:

- Imager "API" - you can now call many of Imager's C functions from
  external XS modules and from Inline::C.
- all the described sample code in samples/ is now included
- better error reporting on write() failures
- paste() can now paste subsets of the source image
- we now search for librarys in some extra places
- various other fixes.

Some of the existing dynfilt/ filters have been converted to XS
modules which are installed along with Imager, making them more
accessible - not to mention more visible.
