No not yet, but I'm looking forward to trying out the improved text
antialiasing. It's supposed to use128 shades instead of just 5.

Plus I believe it supports T1 fonts (along with a bunch of other types) so
Imager might not need to use the separate T1 library if it finds freetype2
is installed.
